We get many questions on how to repair worn out or broken blinds. Well, I had the pleasure of being introduced to Mike Yanke, owner of FixMyBlinds.com, and wanted to share his website with our readers. He sells complete kits and spare parts to re-string or repair window blinds yourself. They have been doing blinds repair and re-stringing since 1995 and provide all the parts and easy to follow instructions on how to take your blind apart, and replace the components.

AdWeek reports that media firm Publicis USA has been awarded the creative duties for Newell-Rubbermaid’s Levolor devision. “Sources said the business would be backed this year by about $20 million in measured media spending.” Last year Newell spent about $50 million across all brands. Newell also owns Lenox, Paper Mate, Rolodex, Sharpie and Waterman.
